Willie Brown

August 6, 1900 – December 30, 1952
He is known by many for being enshrined in the lyrics of Crossroad Blues, by Robert Johnson, "tell my friend, Willie Brown.." As a young Johnson sought to also perform alongside the then kings of Dockery plantation, Charley Patton, Son House, Brown, he was likely much satisfied to call Brown his friend.
